Japanese Covered Bridge

This bridge is one of the symbols of Hoi An. Despite its name, the bridge is not built in Japanese style, and in fact there are very few covered bridges in Japan.
There is evidence that suggests the bridge was built in 1595, however,
it has been remodelled several times since then. Although the most
recent restoration was carried out in 1986, the bridge is already
showing signs of deterioration.
