

Hoi An Church

Hoi An Church was constructed on 18th November 1615 by priest Fran-Cisco Buzomi, an Italian builder. Initially only priests belonging to “Jesuit” Order and in Paris came to Hoi An for missionary work. Then religious followers have expanded, consequently Hoi An Church has been refurbished and renovated. At present, Hoi An Church has been shifted to Nguyen Truong To street. It is also a burial place of several Christian missionaries in the early 18th century.
